I visited Tulleys Farm on Saturday with my three grandchildren, aged 12, 6 and 2. Little did I know what delights were in store for us.

Despite the weather being dull and cold the atmosphere was very exciting and started off with a sleigh ride through the forest to Santa’s house accompanied with a very friendly elf.  We were greeted by another elf and shown into a cosy log cabin with Father Christmas sitting on a comfortable settee in front of a Christmas Tree and a warm fire.  Father Christmas made everyone welcome and told us a story about giving at Christmas, he then had his photograph taken with anyone who wanted them.  The children all got a present and then went back to continue the sleigh ride.

This has to be an event not to be missed for the Christmas Season, all my grandchildren had a wonderful time and the age differences were dispelled.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to all of Tulleys staff for making this a fabulous start to Christmas.

We thought Tea with Santa was brilliant. You got a perfect balance for children, not making it too long for them to loose interest, but keeping them involved and part of the whole experience. As adults we also really enjoyed it. We are already being asked if we can come back again next year and we will. It was magical.

I would like the manager of Tulleys Farm to know that in six years or taking my kids to see ‘Father Christmas’ at various shopping centres, Garden Centres etc, none were anywhere near as good as the one you have in the little cabin at the end of the tractor ride at Tulleys Farm. Both my 4 year old and 7 year old were transfixed by his story about the scarecrow – and we parents loved the message behind the story. The way all the characters interacted (The ‘Elves’ were excellent too), the decoration of the cabin – it was all perfect. The Father Christmas experience for our kids was priceless.
